quotes It's awesome to see someone doing something that is actually different!!! Removing all of the weight from the rear wheel has got to make the rear suspension a lot more responsive. Would be fun to try it out.

quotes OMG at least give me one last season for redemption! Had an injury there 3 years ago was ready to go back to put that bitch in her place! Looks like she had the last laugh though :(

quotes I got a Trans AM about 6 month ago and love it. If you have been riding a full suspension for a while and have been considering a hard tail for a change do it! Riding it is a lot of fun and will turn all the trails you know into something new. Since my trails aren't getting any harder but my skills have increased, I found going to a hard tail a great way to make the trails harder and more fun. I am considering a Pugsley next.

quotes That's exactly what I noticed too. If you want to run a gearbox, simply build a specific wheel for it with an Alfine hub, it's going to much easier and cheaper than building a whole new bike, especially considering how expensive this frame is, plus you can use whatever frame you want. Perhaps it is a custom spec Alfine with beefed up gears?

quotes Staches are cool and funny (mostly funny) for about 10 minutes. I can't imaging looking at that ridiculous thing every day, let alone all of the maintenance it sounds like it requires.

quotes I'm just glad they are "podium ready", don't be one of those idiots on the podium without a podium ready handlebar, nothing gets more laughs!

quotes I don't think the popularity of 29ers has anything to do with it being better, maybe most who go that route do think its better, sure its better in some situations, and lacks in just as many others, I think its just something different is all. People are wanting something new to ride and if you have ever ridden one they are definitely a unique experience.

quotes Since the US just changed granting patents to first to file rather than first to invent (much like the rest of the world) the only thing stopping anyone from stealing any posted ideas is their good nature, and I sure as hell wouldn't bank on that at all. More importantly though are you really ever going to patent, design, or build your idea in reality? For most probably not, so post it and let someone else actually bring it to market, at least then you may get to buy and use it. It's not like the idea is of any worth anyways, ideas are the easiest part by far, the hard part is implementation, funding, design, manufacturing, distribution, sales, patents, and about 20 other things you have no idea about.

quotes Get a moto fender like you have there, trim the sides a little bit, and then attach it to the stanchions, done.

quotes buffalo1313: not at all, its just that you are 99% MORE LIKELY to be a pro surfer than someone who was born in the desert, its pretty obvious. quigs: yes I think it can be said about almost everything, but just because your parents are good lawyers there is no GUARANTEE you will be, but there is a good chance, it has a little to do with nature, but more so to do with your environment. a lawyers child is more likely to be a lawyer than a non lawyers child, and a cooks child is more likely to be a cook than a non cooks, the point is the child will be exposed to those professions at a very early age and with the guidance of a very invested pro, thus if they are at all inclined to do that profession or have any natural ability they have a MUCH higher chance of being pro at it than anyone else. the sky is the limit for this kid, the biggest obstacle he will probably have is dealing with injury, since your entire career and life can be ended with 1 unlucky event, since its out of your control though no point in worrying about it.
